Dr Khullar, along with being a Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician, also has a qualification of being an orthopaedic surgeon. He has worked in India and Maldives as a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Khullar works in close liaison with the Emergency department in St. John of God Hospital in Geelong.

  • What are Musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders?
    The musculoskeletal system comprises our bones, joints, cartilage, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and other connective tissues that give support to the body and help in movement. Disorders in these tissues are known as MSK disorders. Acute MSK disorders due to trauma need to be addressed immediately and Dr. Khullar with his unique skill set can provide advice and supervise the management of such trauma.
  • Can Dr. Khullar manage upper and lower limb fractures?
    Yes, Dr Khullar provides expert advice on management of all fractures. He can liaise with your allied health practitioners to formulate and supervise a structured rehab and return to sports or work plan. He can identify the ones’ which need urgent surgical treatment and can organise the appropriate surgical referral as required.
  • What age group of patients are treated in the clinic?
    Dr Khullar treats acute and chronic MSK disorders in patients of all age groups.
  • Can Dr Khullar write rebated MRI for diagnosis of Acute MSK trauma?
    Since Dr. Khullar is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Specialist, he can support the management of your injury by writing a rebated MRI according to Medicare rules. This would minimise delays in diagnosing and effectively managing your injury.
